Salty Labs is founded by Jonsara Ruth.
Jonsara is driven to enhance the lives of others through design and art. Collaborating with people from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds is a source of inspiration. Every project employs strategies that care for human and environmental health, with a committment to minimizing waste. Elevating everyday human experience is her underlying pursuit. Imagining new and more hopeful futures is her ultimate pursuit. Material curiosities drive her research.
Jonsara has led creative and production teams to design and mass-produce furniture globally and locally. And for several years made the healthiest children’s furniture available in America, working closely with American manufacturers, suppliers. Her designs have won numerous awards and are found in thousands of homes.
Jonsara is also Co-Founder and Executive Design Director of Healthy Materials Lab at Parsons School of Design where she is Associate Professor and Founding Director of the MFA Interior Design program.
HELEN QUINN is an artist, colorist, designer, stylist, and project lead.
